Where do I get a copy certificate from?
You may order copy certificates from 1837 to the present day.
Please note: you can only purchase copy certificates for births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships that occurred in Warrington.
If the event occurred outside of Warrington you should apply at the local register office.
If you are unsure where the event occurred, you can order copy certificates for any event that occurred in England or Wales from General Register Office www.gro.gov.uk
The original registers for all births, deaths and marriages occurring in the Warrington area since 1837 are stored at the register office. Certificates can be purchased on payment of the appropriate fee.
